Rental Companies

We book through all major rental companies, including Avis, Budget, Sixt, National, Enterprise, and others.

Service Description

DriveX (also known as HG Prime Solutions Inc.) is a booking agency that helps secure long-term vehicle rentals.

Our responsibility is limited to finding and securing the best available rate for your reservation.

Payment Methods & Fees

Reservation Fee

The reservation fee is non-refundable, except when a rental company declines the reservation for reasons not related to you.

The fee remains non-refundable if the reservation is declined due to:

  • Invalid or expired driver's license
  • Insurance issues
  • Insufficient credit or funds
  • Age restrictions
  • Unpaid balances
  • Incorrect or incomplete information
  • Failure to meet rental company requirements

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit cards (3.5% processing fee applies)
  • Debit cards (3.5% processing fee applies)
  • Zelle (No processing fee)

All processing fees are non-refundable.

Vehicle Availability

If the rental company cannot honor your reservation due to internal or availability issues, your reservation fee will be refunded in full.

If the issue is related to renter eligibility or requirements, the reservation fee remains non-refundable.

Renter Requirements

To qualify for a rental, the renter must:

  • Meet the required age (21+, or 25+ depending on reservations)
  • Have a valid driver's license
  • Provide a credit or debit card with enough available credit to cover:
    • Two months of rental charges
    • Plus $200–$400 deposit (amount depends on the rental)
  • The rental company may require additional ID or proof of address

Failure to meet these requirements may result in cancellation without refund.

Insurance Responsibilities

DriveX does not provide, verify, or manage any insurance coverage. The renter must confirm coverage directly with:

  • Their credit-card LDW/CDW provider
  • Their personal auto insurance provider
  • The rental company supplying the vehicle

The renter is responsible for understanding coverage limits, exclusions, and whether insurance applies to long-term rentals.

Insurance Claims

DriveX does not handle or assist with any insurance claims. All claims, disputes, or coverage issues must be handled directly between the renter, their insurance provider, and the rental company.

Tolls, Tickets & Violations

DriveX does not manage or process:

  • Tolls
  • Tickets
  • Parking violations
  • Congestion charges
  • Administrative fees

These charges are billed directly by the rental company to the renter. Additional processing fees may apply.

Cancellation Policy

  • If the renter cancels after payment, the reservation fee remains non-refundable.
  • If the rental company cancels due to internal issues, DriveX will refund the reservation fee.
  • If cancellation is related to renter requirements not being met, no refund applies.

Rental Extensions

Extensions may be possible in certain cases. Any rental extensions or changes must be arranged through DriveX and may be subject to additional fees.

Confidentiality of Rental Locations

Customers are not permitted to share, publish, or disclose our rental locations or any rental information provided by us.

Violation of this policy may result in cancellation of the rental, including during the rental term, without refund of the reservation fee.

Chargeback Policy

Submitting a chargeback for a non-refundable item will be disputed. Supporting documentation will be provided to the payment processor.

Chargebacks may result in suspension of service. Additionally, the customer will be required to pay an additional $500 if a chargeback is initiated, to cover the work involved in handling the chargeback.

Limitation of Liability

DriveX is not responsible for:

  • Vehicle condition or performance
  • Mechanical issues
  • Accidents or damages
  • Insurance decisions or denials
  • Fees or charges from the rental company
  • Delays, cancellations, or availability changes

Acceptance of Terms

By using DriveX services, paying a reservation fee, or submitting your information, you agree to:

  • DriveX Terms & Conditions
  • The rental company's Terms & Conditions
  • All policies regarding fees, requirements, insurance, and liability
DriveX's sole responsibility is securing your reservation at the agreed rate.

Frequently Asked Questions

What about insurance?

Most major U.S. credit cards include LDW/CDW coverage for rentals up to 30–42 days. Rental companies typically renew the contract every 30 days. The rental company provides state-required minimum liability coverage.

You are fully responsible for confirming your own coverage, including limits, exclusions, and terms. Check with your credit-card provider, personal insurance, and the rental company.

DriveX does not verify, manage, or handle any insurance coverage or claims.

What if I don't have a major U.S. credit card?

You can get a Non-Owner Car Insurance Policy through GEICO at 800-841-3005. Ask for Non-Owner Car Insurance and choose:

  • Liability Only
  • Liability + Collision + Theft
Where is the pickup location?

For listings without a "Non-Local" label, pickup is within a 4-hour drive from NYC. "Non-Local" listings are four hours or more from New York City.

Is the reservation fee refundable?

The reservation fee is non-refundable. If the rental company declines for a reason not related to you, we refund in full. If declined due to renter issues, no refund applies.

How do rental company charges work?

At pickup, the rental company places an authorization hold for one month plus $200 deposit. This is pending only — it disappears after a few days. Each month, they charge the previous month and place a new hold for the next month plus deposit.

Can I rent with a debit card?

Some companies allow it, but requirements vary and it's subject to a credit check. Credit-card CDW/LDW coverage does not apply with debit cards — ensure you have proper insurance.

What do I need at pickup?
  • Valid driver's license
  • Credit card in your name
  • A second form of ID and proof of address may be required
Will DriveX help with insurance claims?

No. All claims must be handled directly between you, your insurance provider, and the rental company.

How long will current prices last?

Prices may change at any time. Once confirmed, your price is locked and guaranteed.

What is the Unlimited Tolls option?

Available at select locations — a fixed monthly rate ($240–$480) covering most tolls. No E-ZPass needed. NYC congestion pricing and certain special tolls may not be included.

Will DriveX handle tolls or violations?

No. These are handled directly by the rental company.

How can I pay the reservation fee?
  • Credit card (3.5% processing fee)

How long can I rent?

Up to 11 months at a time.

Can I return early?

Yes. You'll only be charged for the time used, subject to the rental company's terms.

Can I extend my rental?

Extensions may be possible. All changes must be arranged through DriveX and may be subject to additional fees.
